NIO 333 FE Team Ready for 2019/20 ABB FIA Formula E CHAMPIONSHIP

NIO 333 FE team, primary sponsored by NIO, unveiled their new car NIO FE-005's livery and driver line-up at Valencia Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Spain.

NIO 005 is painted on the basis of NIO blue, adding the indigo blue and Chinese red representing 333 Racing, meanwhile the performance of new car has been steadily developed. Experienced British driver Oliver Turvey and Chinese driver Ma Qing Hua will represent the team in the 2019/20 ABB FIA Formula E Championship.

NIO 333 FE Team will compete for the 2019/20 season with NIO as the primary sponsor. The Chinese Motorsport industry giant, Shanghai Lisheng Racing Co.LTD., provides daily operation and licenses its “333 Racing” brand to the team. The European subsidiary is responsible for technical and R&D.

I believe the new NIO 333 FE team will achieve outstanding performance in Lisheng Racing's operation. I also wish Oliver Turvey and Ma Qing Hua to achieve great results in the season.”

NIO 333 FE team CEO Vincent Wang said: "We are very pleased to collaborate with NIO to compete Formula E - the top level international fully-electric motorsport championship. NIO team has achieved brilliant results in the past. NIO 333 FE team is a new team with a lot of experiences. We hope that the team will continue to make progress through our efforts and we are looking forward to the exciting moment of the red lights out."

NIO 333 FE team will start the pre-season testing in Valencia and participate in the 2019/20 ABB FIA Formula E Championship, which will start in Ad-Diriyah in Saudi Arabia on November 22 this year. This season will take places in 14 rounds in 12 cities around the world including China's Sanya.

About NIO 333 FE Team

NIO FE Team has participated in the ABB FIA Formula E since inaugural season and won the driver's championship by Brazilian driver Nelson Piquet Jr.

British driver Oliver Turvey joined the team in June 2015 and has raced all races for the team until now. He will race for the NIO 333 FE team in the 2019/20 season. Ma Qing Hua is the only Chinese driver with Formula E experience. He has served as a reserve driver for NIO before, and is promoted to the official driver in the 2019/20 season.

333 Racing partnered NIO Formula E team in September 2019. The team was renamed NIO 333 Formula E team. The new team was fully managed and operated by the professional motorsport management team in China, NIO transited to the primary sponsor. The European team is responsible for R&D and technical support, gradually integrating more Chinese elements.
